Viral Video Of Teen Brawl Lands Parsons Couple In Jail



PARSONS, TN- Police say a Decatur County couple 'encouraged' a street brawl between two teens. Two adults and two teens how now been summoned to court.
A video surfaced this week of what police say is two juvenile females fighting in a Parsons bank parking lot.

WOPC HD News acquired two versions of the video and spoke with Parsons Police Chief Dale King about the incident. The chief says the matter had recently come to his attention and an investigation was about to be launched.

The video was reportedly filmed on the evening of Saturday, March 10th, in the parking lot of CB&S bank.

Late Tuesday night, WOPC was notified by the Parsons Police Department that two arrests had been made in the case

According to court documents Brandy L. Tuberville, 35, Decaturville and Nathan Brasher, 40, Decaturville have been arrested in connection with the fight.

Excerpts from the video seem to indicate the fight between the juveniles had something to do with a post to Instagram.

A female that has been identified as Tuberville by Parsons Police in the video is said to be heard yelling obscenities at the teen being pummeled by her daughter.  Court documents say that Tuberville and Brasher both "encouraged" the incident.

Parsons Police Lt. Wess Woodward said that now only did the couple encourage the fight but that Brasher and Tuberville, "Participated by keeping anyone from breaking up the fight and advised their child to keep hitting the other child."


According to Lt. Woodward, the fight ended with one of the teens "grabbing the other by the hair so hard that the teen slams to the pavement."  "That juvenile has been treated for injuries" according to Woodward.

"Both of these adults said it was the best way these girls could have solved their problems." Ward added.

The Parsons Police Department says that Tuberville is charged with Contributing To The Delinquency Of A Minor and Attempted Aggravated Assault. Her bond was set at $10,000.

Brasher was charged with Criminal Responsibility Attempted Aggravated Assault and Contributing To The Delinquency Of A Minor his bond is also set at $10,000. The two juveniles were summoned to juvenile court at a later date.
