Search For Missing Perry County Senior Citizen Underway



LINDEN, TN- Perry County Officials say they are searching for a missing senior citizen who was last seen on Wednesday night.

Perry County Sheriff Nick Weems says that Marshal Spry, 73, was last seen on Wednesday night about 8 p.m. in the Flatwoods community.

Spry was reportedly last seen leaving a family member's home in his maroon colored 2006 Chevy Silverado Truck. The truck has a silver toolbox.

Mr. Spry is described as 5'9'' with black hair. His family says he was wearing a blue jumpsuit and a maroon jacket and glasses.

According to the family members, Spry is a diabetic but that it had been uncontrol.

The Perry County Sheriff's Office has been joined by the Williamson County Sheriff's Office. The WCSO is providing air support and using their helicopter to help in the search.

Sheriff Weems said that Spry lives in the White Oak community.

On Saturday several family and friends joined law enforcement in the search.
