Perry County Unveils Tag Renewal Kiosk

(C) WOPC

A license plate tag renewal Kiosk is now conveniently available inside the Lobelville City Hall Lobby. No need to travel to the courthouse for renewal.

The new self-serve Kiosk is a convenient way for Perry County residents, especially in the Lobelville area, to quickly renew their license plate motor vehicle registration on their lunch break, before or after work saving time and money. The computer will be available during business hours at City Hall:  7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and 1:00 to 5:00 pm on Saturday.

Renewing is as easy as  1 2 3:

1. Scan your previously mailed renewal registration notice containing the bar-code or printed email renewal notice. The system will then pull your vehicle and plate information.

2. Answer a simple question

3. Slide your payment card (mastercard..visa..credit or debit card only) and instantaneously your renewal registration and plate sticker is printed and ready for $29.84

The Kiosk was designed with strict data security in mind. At no point during the transaction is any personal information displayed officials say.

Perry County is one of the first few counties in the state of Tennessee to offer a Kiosk of this kind.

All services are user friendly, safe and secure.
