MARSHALL COUNTY, TN- The Tennessee Highway Patrol says that a Shelbyville man was killed  in a head on collision outside of Lewisburg on Friday evening and that drugs and alcohol were alleged to be a  factor.
According to the report from the THP a westbound GMC Envoy driven by James H. King, 40, Culleoka, Tn, crossed the center line and hit a east bound Ford truck head on. The accident occurred at the intersection of Hwy 64 and Hunter Road in Marshall County.

Grady Flippo, 52, Shelbyville, was the driver of the Ford truck and he was killed in the accident.

King and his passenger, Briana Prince, 19, Culleoka, Tn, were both injured in the accident. No updates on their condition is available.

The report says that none of the people involved in the accident were using seat belts.

The troopers report says that criminal charges are pending and that drug and alcohol test had been request on King.

The accident caused the roadway to be shut down.
