Major ATT Outage Reported In Lawrence County


LAWRENCEBURGE, TN- Over the past few hours several social media post suggested that cellular service had been disrupted in Lawrenceburg.


According to a spokesman for ATT Wireless the company confirmed they in fact had a "Major Outage" in the Lawrence County area.

The company has service techs already working on the tower and the repair are expected to be completed by no later than 2:00 am, Thursday morning. The repairs could come much more quickly depending on what the techs find at the tower.

The spokesman for the company said that ATT Internet customers could enable WIFI calling on newer phones and make calls, there is no charge for that service.

The tower associated with the outage is located at Mars Hill, but there could be multiple towers affected.
