2-Year-Old Test Positive For Meth, Parents Arrested

DECATURVILLE, TN- Court records show that a Decatur County couple was jailed on serious charges after their 2-year-old child  reportedly tested positive for Meth.
According to warrant information a complaint was made to the Department of Children's Services that lead to the agency testing a  2-year-old child in October, 2017, to see if that child had been exposed to drugs.

That test reportedly recently came back positive for methamphetamines in the child's system.

Law enforcement says that the parents of the child, Megan Lee and Kevin Rhodes, both of Birdsong, were arrested and charged with one county each of Child Abuse/Neglect/Endangerment and Violation of Haley's Law.

Because the child's age is under 8-years of age the charge under Haley's Law is enhanced to an A-Felony.

Both Lee and Rhodes were booked into the Decatur County Jail and released on bond $10,000 each.
