Nick Saban Gives A Man a Crimson Christmas

Selmer- A Selmer man who has had a difficult year got a Crimson Christmas surprise he will not forget.

James and Linda Moody call Mcnairy County, Tennessee home. It's not known as an area with a large contingent of  University of Alabama football fans. James Moody is a proud supporter of the Crimson Tide, Linda is not!

According to Linda Moody, its been a very tough year for the family. Over a short time, she lost her brother and her husband, James, lost his mother and a nephew. On top of that Linda has serious medical conditions and the bills associated with them had stretched the family budget to the point that Christmas presents were going to almost impossible.

Linda says her husband works hard and never complains about the hardships that her medical conditions have caused. She came up with an idea for a gift that would mean more to him than something money could buy.

She emailed Alabama's head football coach Nick Saban and told him of the situations facing the family and asked Saban, would it be possible for him to email her husband and tell him, Merry Christmas.

What came next caught her by surprise. She says she got a return email from Saban and in it the coach said that he could do better than just a Merry Christmas.

A box soon arrived at the Moody household, from Nick Saban. The box contained a host of Bama gear, a football and an autographed photograph of Nick Saban.

Linda says because of Nick Saban her husband had the best Christmas ever and that it meant so much to her to see him smile.
